๙. อัทธานปริญญาสูตร ว่าด้วยธรรมที่เป็นไปเพื่อกำหนดรู้อัทธานะ
อานาปานสฺสติสมาธิ ภิกฺขเว ภาวิโต พหุลีกโต อทฺธานปริญฺญาย สํวตฺตตีติ ฯ (วิตฺถาโร) ฯ เอวํ ภาวิโต โข ภิกฺขเว อานาปานสฺสติสมาธิ เอวํ พหุลีกโต อทฺธานปริญฺญาย สํวตฺตตีติ ฯ
ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย สมาธิอันสัมปยุตด้วยอานาปานสติ อันภิกษุเจริญแล้วกระทำให้มากแล้ว ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อกำหนดรู้อัทธานะ ฯลฯ สมาธิอันสัมปยุตด้วยอานาปานสติอันภิกษุเจริญแล้วอย่างนี้ กระทำให้มากแล้วอย่างนี้ ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อกำหนดรู้อัทธานะ ฯลฯ จบ สูตรที่ ๙
“ภิกษุทั้งหลาย อานาปานสติสมาธิที่ภิกษุเจริญ ทำให้มากแล้ว ย่อมเป็นไปเพื่อกำหนดรู้อัทธานะ (ทางไกล) (พึงเพิ่มข้อความที่เหลือให้พิสดาร) ฯลฯ อานาปานสติสมาธิที่ภิกษุเจริญอย่างนี้แล ทำให้มากแล้วอย่างนี้ จึงเป็นไปเพื่อกำหนดรู้อัทธานะ” อัทธานปริญญาสูตรที่ ๙ จบ @เชิงอรรถ : @ ดูเนื้อความเต็มในข้อ ๙๘๙ (ปฐมอานันทสูตร) หน้า ๔๗๔ ในเล่มนี้
