กมฺมปจฺจโยติ กุสลากุสลํ กมฺมํ วิปากานํ ขนฺธานํ กฏตฺตา จ รูปานํ กมฺมปจฺจเยน ปจฺจโย เจตนาสมฺปยุตฺตกานํ ธมฺมานํ ตํสมุฏฺฐานานญฺจ รูปานํ กมฺมปจฺจเยน ปจฺจโยติ ฯ
กัมมปัจจัย คือ กุศลกรรมและอกุศลกรรม เป็นปัจจัยแก่วิบากขันธ์ และกฏัตตารูป โดยกัมมปัจจัย และเป็นปัจจัยแก่ธรรมอันสัมปยุตด้วยเจตนา และรูปซึ่งมีธรรมอันสัมปยุตด้วยเจตนานั้น เป็นสมุฏฐาน โดยกัมมปัจจัย
