กุโต สรา นิวตฺตนฺติ กตฺถ วฏฺฏํ น วตฺตติ กตฺถ นามญฺจ รูปญฺจ อเสสํ อุปรุชฺฌตีติ ฯ
ท. สงสารทั้งหลายย่อมกลับแต่ที่ไหน วัฏฏะย่อมไม่เป็น ไปในที่ไหน นามก็ดี รูปก็ดี ย่อมดับหมดในที่ไหน ฯ
เทวดาทูลถามว่า ความแล่นไปจะหยุดที่ไหน วัฏฏะไม่หมุนวนที่ไหน นามและรูปดับไม่เหลือที่ไหน พระผู้มีพระภาคตรัสตอบว่า ดิน น้ำ ไฟ ลม ตั้งอยู่ไม่ได้ที่ใด ความแล่นไปย่อมหยุดที่นี้ วัฏฏะไม่หมุนวนที่นี้ นามและรูปดับไม่เหลือที่นี้สรสูตรที่ ๗ จบ
ยตฺถ อาโป จ ปฐวี เตโช วาโย น คาธติ อโต สรา นิวตฺตนฺติ เอตฺถ วฏฺฏํ น วตฺตติ เอตฺถ นามญฺจ รูปญฺจ อเสสํ อุปรุชฺฌตีติ ฯ
ภ. น้ำ ดิน ไฟ ลม ย่อมไม่ตั้งอยู่ในที่ใด สงสาร ทั้งหลายย่อมกลับแต่ที่นี้ วัฏฏะย่อมไม่เป็นไปในที่นี้ นามก็ดี รูปก็ดี ย่อมดับหมดในที่นี้ ฯ
