เสยฺยถาปิ ภิกฺขเว อากาเส วิวิธา วาตา วายนฺติ ปุรตฺถิมาปิ วาตา วายนฺติ ฯเปฯ อธิมตฺตาปิ วาตา วายนฺติ ฯ เอวเมว โข ภิกฺขเว อิมสฺมึ กายสฺมึ วิวิธา เวทนา อุปฺปชฺชนฺติ สุขาปิ เวทนา อุปฺปชฺชติ ทุกฺขาปิ เวทนา อุปฺปชฺชติ อทุกฺขมสุขาปิ เวทนา อุปฺปชฺชตีติ ฯ ตติยํ ฯ
ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย เปรียบเหมือนลมต่างชนิด พัดไปในอากาศคือ ลมทิศตะวันออกบ้าง ฯลฯ ลมแรงบ้าง ฉันใด ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย เวทนาต่างชนิดย่อมเกิดขึ้นในกายนี้ ฉันนั้นเหมือนกันแล คือ สุขเวทนาบ้าง ทุกขเวทนาบ้าง อทุกขมสุขเวทนาบ้าง ฯ จบสูตรที่ ๓
“ภิกษุทั้งหลาย ลมชนิดต่างๆ พัดไปในอากาศ คือ ลมมาจากทิศ ตะวันออกพัดไปบ้าง ฯลฯ ลมแรงพัดไปบ้าง แม้ฉันใด ภิกษุทั้งหลาย เวทนาชนิดต่างๆ ก็ฉันนั้นเหมือนกัน ย่อมเกิดขึ้นในกายนี้ คือ สุขเวทนาเกิดขึ้นบ้าง ทุกขเวทนาเกิดขึ้นบ้าง อทุกขมสุขเวทนาเกิดขึ้นบ้าง”ทุติยอากาสสูตรที่ ๓ จบ
