สตฺต โว ภิกฺขเว อปริหานิเย ธมฺเม เทสิสฺสามิ ตํ สุณาถ ฯ กตเม จ ภิกฺขเว สตฺต อปริหานิยา ธมฺมา ฯ ยทิทํ สตฺต โพชฺฌงฺคา ฯ กตเม สตฺต ฯ สติสมฺโพชฺฌงฺโค ฯเปฯ อุเปกฺขา- สมฺโพชฺฌงฺโค ฯ อิเม โข ภิกฺขเว สตฺต อปริหานิยา ธมฺมาติ ฯ
ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย เราจักแสดงธรรมอันไม่เป็นที่ตั้งแห่งความเสื่อม ๗ ประการแก่เธอทั้งหลาย เธอทั้งหลายจงฟังธรรมนั้น ก็ธรรมอันไม่เป็นที่ตั้งแห่งความเสื่อม ๗ ประการเป็นไฉน? คือ โพชฌงค์ ๗ โพชฌงค์ ๗ เป็นไฉน? คือ สติสัมโพชฌงค์ ฯลฯ อุเบกขาสัมโพชฌงค์ ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย ธรรมอันไม่เป็นที่ตั้งแห่งความเสื่อม ๗ ประการนี้แล. จบ สูตรที่ ๕
“ภิกษุทั้งหลาย เราจักแสดงอปริหานิยธรรม (ธรรมอันไม่เป็นที่ตั้ง แห่งความเสื่อม) ๗ ประการแก่เธอทั้งหลาย เธอทั้งหลายจงฟัง
