ปญฺจิเม ภิกฺขเว อานิสํสา ยาคุยา กตเม ปญฺจ ขุทฺทํ ปฏิวิเนติ ปิปาสํ ปฏิวิเนติ วาตํ อนุโลเมติ วตฺถึ โสเธติ อามาวเสสํ ปาเจติ อิเม โข ภิกฺขเว ปญฺจ อานิสํสา ยาคุยาติ ฯ
ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย อานิสงส์ของข้าวยาคู ๕ ประการนี้ ๕ ประการเป็นไฉน คือ บรรเทาความหิว ๑ ระงับความระหาย ๑ ยังลมให้เดินคล่อง ๑ชำระลำไส้ ๑ เผาอาหารเก่าที่ยังไม่ย่อย ๑ ดูกรภิกษุทั้งหลาย อานิสงส์ของข้าวยาคู ๕ ประการนี้แล ฯ จบสูตรที่ ๗
ภิกษุทั้งหลาย อานิสงส์ของยาคู (ข้าวต้ม) ๕ ประการนี้ อานิสงส์ของยาคู ๕ ประการ อะไรบ้าง คือ ๑. บรรเทาความหิว ๒. ระงับความกระหาย ๓. ให้ลมเดินคล่อง ๔. ชำระลำไส้ ๕. เผาอาหารที่ยังไม่ย่อยให้ย่อย ภิกษุทั้งหลาย อานิสงส์ของยาคู ๕ ประการนี้แล ยาคุสูตรที่ ๗ จบ
