๗. สัตตมวรรค หมวดที่ ๗ ๑. วัปปเถรคาถา ภาษิตของพระวัปปเถระ ทราบว่า ท่านพระวัปปเถระได้กล่าวคาถาไว้ดังนี้ว่า
|๑๙๘.๖๑| ๑ ปสฺสติ ปสฺโส ปสฺสนฺตํ อปสฺสนฺตญฺจ ปสฺสติ อปสฺสนฺโต อปสฺสนฺตํ ปสฺสนฺตญฺจ น ปสฺสตีติ ฯ วปฺโป เถโร ฯ
บุคคลผู้สมบูรณ์ด้วยทัสสนะ ย่อมเห็นคนอันธพาลผู้เห็นอยู่ด้วย ย่อมเห็น คนอันธพาลผู้ไม่เห็นอยู่ด้วย ส่วนคนอันธพาลผู้ไม่สมบูรณ์ด้วยทัสสนะ ย่อมไม่เห็นคนอันธพาลผู้ไม่เห็นและคนอันธพาลผู้เห็น.
ผู้เห็นธรรมย่อมเห็นทั้งผู้เห็นธรรมและผู้ไม่เห็นธรรม ผู้ไม่เห็นธรรมย่อมไม่เห็นทั้งผู้ไม่เห็นธรรมและผู้เห็นธรรม
