๗. เอกธัมมสวนิยเถรคาถา ภาษิตของพระเอกธรรมสวนิยเถระ ทราบว่า ท่านพระเอกธรรมสวนิยเถระได้กล่าวคาถาไว้ดังนี้ว่า
|๒๐๔.๖๗| ๗ กิเลสา ฌาปิตา มยฺหํ ภวา สพฺเพ สมูหตา วิกฺขีโณ ชาติสํสาโร นตฺถิทานิ ปุนพฺภโวติ ฯ เอกธมฺมสวนิโย เถโร ฯ
กิเลสทั้งหลายเราเผาแล้ว ภพทั้งปวงเราถอนขึ้นแล้ว ชาติสงสารของเรา สิ้นไปแล้ว บัดนี้ภพใหม่มิได้มีต่อไป.
เราเผากิเลสทั้งหลายแล้ว เราถอนภพทั้งปวงได้แล้ว การเวียนว่ายตายเกิดสิ้นไปแล้ว บัดนี้ ไม่มีการเกิดอีก
