เมื่อใด เราได้ฟังธรรมของพระศาสดาผู้ทรงแสดงอยู่ เมื่อนั้นเราไม่รู้สึก ความสงสัยในพระศาสดาผู้รู้ธรรมทั้งปวง ผู้อันใครๆ ชนะไม่ได้ ผู้นำหมู่ แกล้วกล้าเป็นอันมาก ประเสริฐสุดกว่าสารถีทั้งหลาย หรือว่าความสงสัย ในมรรคปฏิปทา ย่อมไม่มีแก่เรา.
เมื่อใด เราได้ฟังธรรมของพระศาสดาผู้ทรงแสดงอยู่ เมื่อนั้น เรารู้ธรรมทั้งปวง จึงไม่รู้สึกสงสัยในพระศาสดาที่ใครๆ ชนะไม่ได้
ซึ่งเป็นผู้นำหมู่ แกล้วกล้าเป็นอันมาก ประเสริฐเลิศกว่าสารถีทั้งหลาย เราไม่มีความสงสัยในมรรคหรือข้อปฏิบัติ
