สิกฺเขยฺย สิกฺขิตพฺพานิ สนฺติ ตจฺฉนฺทิโน ชนา พาหิยาปิ สุหนฺเนน ราชานํ อภิราธยีติ ฯ พาหิยชาตกํ อฏฺฐมํ ฯ ---------
บุคคลควรศึกษาศิลปะทั้งหลาย ชนทั้งหลายที่พอใจในศิลปะนั้นก็มีอยู่ แม้แต่หญิงที่เกิดในจังหวัดชั้นนอก ก็ยังทำให้พระราชาทรงโปรดปรานได้ ด้วยความกระมิดกระเมี้ยนของเธอ. จบ พาหิยชาดกที่ ๘.
บุคคลควรศึกษาศิลปะทั้งหลายที่ควรศึกษา ชนทั้งหลายที่พอใจในศิลปะเหล่านั้นยังมีอยู่ เพราะว่าหญิงสาวบ้านนอกก็ยังทำพระราชาให้พอพระทัย ด้วยความเอียงอายของเธอ พาหิยชาดกที่ ๘ จบ
