ยายญฺญมนุสาสติ สยํ โลลุปฺปจารินี สายํ วิปกฺขิกา เสติ หตา จกฺเกน สาลิกาติ ฯ อนุสาสิกชาตกํ ปญฺจมํ ฯ ---------
นางนกสาลิกาตัวใด สั่งสอนนกตัวอื่นอยู่เนืองๆ ตัวเองมีปกติเที่ยวไป ด้วยละโมบ นางนกสาลิกาตัวนั้นถูกล้อบดแล้วมีปีกหักนอนอยู่. จบ อนุสาสิกชาดกที่ ๕.
นางนกป่าชื่ออนุสาสิกา พร่ำสอนนกเหล่าอื่นอยู่เนืองนิตย์ แต่ตนเองกลับโลภจัด จึงถูกล้อรถบดขยี้ขาดเป็น ๒ ท่อนนอนอยู่ที่หนทางใหญ่ อนุสาสิกชาดกที่ ๕ จบ
