อจฺจุคฺคตา อติพลตา อติเวลํ ปภาสิตา วาจา หนติ ทุมฺเมธํ ติตฺติรํวาติวสฺสิตนฺติ ฯ ติตฺติรชาตกํ สตฺตมํ ฯ ---------
วาจาที่ดังเกินไป ความเป็นผู้มีกำลังแรงเกินไป บุคคลกล่าวล่วงเวลา ย่อมฆ่าบุคคลผู้มีปัญญาทรามเสีย ดุจวาจาที่ฆ่านกกระทาผู้ขันดังเกินไป ฉะนั้น. จบ ติตติรชาดกที่ ๗.
คำพูดที่ดังเกินไป รุนแรงเกินไป และพูดเกินเวลา ย่อมฆ่าคนมีปัญญาทราม เหมือนเสียงฆ่านกกระทาที่ขันดังเกินไปติตติรชาดกที่ ๗ จบ
