นาจินฺตยนฺโต ปุริโส วิเสสมธิคจฺฉติ จินฺติตสฺส ผลํ ปสฺส มุตฺโตสฺมิ วธพนฺธนาติ ฯ วฏฺฏกชาตกํ อฏฺฐมํ ฯ ---------
บุรุษเมื่อไม่คิดก็ย่อมไม่ได้ผลพิเศษ ท่านจงดูผลแห่งอุบายที่เราคิดเถิด เราพ้นแล้วจากการฆ่าและจองจำ ก็ด้วยอุบายนั้น. จบ วัฏฏกชาดกที่ ๘.
คนเมื่อไม่คิดก็ไม่ได้บรรลุคุณธรรมวิเศษ ท่านจงดูผลกรรมที่เราคิดแล้ว เราพ้นแล้วจากการถูกฆ่า และการจองจำด้วยอุบายนั้น วัฏฏกชาดกที่ ๘ จบ
