ยสํ ลทฺธาน ทุมฺเมโธ อนตฺถํ จรติ อตฺตโน อตฺตโน จ ปเรสญฺจ หึสาย ปฏิปชฺชตีติ ฯ ทุมฺเมธชาตกํ ทุติยํ ฯ ---------
ผู้มีปัญญาทรามได้ยศแล้ว ย่อมประพฤติสิ่งที่ไม่เป็นประโยชน์แก่ตน ย่อมปฏิบัติเพื่อความเบียดเบียนตนและคนอื่น ฯ จบ ทุมเมธชาดกที่ ๒.
คนมีปัญญาทรามได้ยศแล้ว ประพฤติสิ่งที่ไม่เป็นประโยชน์แก่ตนเอง ปฏิบัติเพื่อเบียดเบียนตนเองและผู้อื่นทุมเมธชาดกที่ ๒ จบ
