ธิรตฺถุ กณฺฑินํ สลฺลํ ปุริสํ คาฬฺหเวธินํ ธิรตฺถุ ตํ ชนปทํ ยตฺถิตฺถี ปริณายิกา เต วาปิ ธิกฺกิตา สตฺตา เย อิตฺถีนํ วสํ คตาติ ฯ กณฺฑินชาตกํ ตติยํ ฯ ---------
เราติเตียนบุรุษผู้มีลูกศรเป็นอาวุธ ยิงปล่อยไปเต็มกำลัง เราติเตียน ชนบทที่มีหญิงเป็นผู้นำ อนึ่ง สัตว์เหล่าใด ตกอยู่ในอำนาจของหญิง ทั้งหลาย สัตว์เหล่านั้นบัณฑิตติเตียนแล้ว. จบ กัณฑินชาดกที่ ๓.
