ความเกษมมีอยู่บนหลังน้ำใด บนหลังน้ำนั้น มีข้าศึกมารบกวน ไฟลุก โพลงอยู่ ณ ท่ามกลางน้ำ วันนี้ การอยู่ของพวกเราที่ต้นไม้อันเกิดที่ แผ่นดินนี้ไม่มี ท่านทั้งหลายจงพากันหลีกไปเสียยังทิศทั้งหลายเถิด วันนี้ ภัยเกิดขึ้นจากที่พึ่งของพวกเรา. จบ ฆตาสนชาดกที่ ๓. @ ประมาณสี่ทะนาน
ความเกษมสำราญมีอยู่บนหลังผิวน้ำใด บนหลังผิวน้ำนั้นมีศัตรูเกิดขึ้น ไฟลุกโพลงอยู่ท่ามกลางน้ำ วันนี้ จะอยู่บนต้นไม้ซึ่งเกิดที่พื้นดินไม่ได้อีก พวกเจ้าจงพากันบินไปยังทิศต่างๆ เถิด วันนี้ ที่พึ่งของพวกเรามีภัยเกิดขึ้นแล้วฆตาสนชาดกที่ ๓ จบ
