ดูกรท่านผู้มีปัญญาทราม ประโยชน์อะไรแก่ท่านด้วยชฎาทั้งหลาย ประโยชน์อะไรแก่ท่านด้วยหนังเสือ ภายในของท่านขรุขระ ท่านย่อม ขัดสีแต่ภายนอก. จบ โคธชาดกที่ ๘.
นี่เจ้าผู้โง่เขลา จะมีประโยชน์อะไรแก่เจ้า ด้วยชฎาและการนุ่งห่มหนังเสือเหลือง ภายในของเจ้าแสนจะรกรุงรัง เจ้าดีแต่ขัดสีภายนอกเท่านั้น โคธชาดกที่ ๘ จบ
