ผู้คบคนชั่ว ย่อมไม่ได้ความสุขโดยส่วนเดียว เขาย่อมทำตนให้ถึง ความพินาศ เหมือนตระกูลเหี้ย ไม่ได้ความสุขจากกิ้งก่า ฉะนั้น. จบ โคธชาดกที่ ๑.
บุคคลคบหาคนชั่วย่อมไม่ประสบความสุขเลย เหมือนตระกูลเหี้ยทำตนเองให้ประสบความวอดวายเพราะกิ้งก่าโคธชาดกที่ ๑ จบ
