นยิทํ วิสมสีเลน โสเณน สุหนุสฺสห สุหนุปิ ตาทิโสเยว โย โสณสฺส ส โคจโร ฯ
การที่ม้าโกงสุหนุกระทำความรักกับม้าโสณะนี้ ย่อมมีด้วยปกติที่ไม่ เสมอกันก็หามิได้ ม้าโสณะ เป็นเช่นใด แม้ม้าสุหนุก็เป็นเช่นนั้น ม้าโสณะมีความประพฤติเช่นใด ม้าสุหนุก็มีความประพฤติเช่นนั้น.
ปกฺขนฺทินา ปคพฺเภน นิจฺจํ สนฺทานขาทินา สเมติ ปาปํ ปาเปน สเมติ อสตาสตนฺติ ฯ สุหนุชาตกํ อฏฺฐมํ ฯ ---------
ม้าทั้งสองนั้น ย่อมเสมอกันด้วยการวิ่งไปด้วยความคะนอง และ ด้วยกัดเชือกที่ล่ามอยู่เป็นนิจ ความชั่วย่อมสมกับความชั่ว ความไม่ดี ย่อมสมกับความไม่ดี. จบ สุหนุชาดกที่ ๘.
