อุจฺเจ วิฏปิมารุยฺห มนฺตยโวฺห รโหคตา นีเจ โอรุยฺห มนฺตโวฺห มิคราชาปิ โสสฺสติ ฯ
ท่านทั้งสองพากันขึ้นไปบนค่าคบไม้อันสูง อยู่ในที่ลับแล้วปรึกษากัน เชิญท่านลงมาปรึกษากันในที่ต่ำเถิด พระยาเนื้อจักได้ฟังบ้าง.
ยํ สุปณฺโณ สุปณฺเณน เทโว เทเวน มนฺตเย กึ ตตฺถ จตุมฏฺฐสฺส วิลํ ปวิส ชมฺพุกาติ ฯ จตุมฏฺฐชาตกํ สตฺตมํ ฯ ---------
สุบรรณกับสุบรรณเขาปรึกษากัน เทวดากับเทวดาเขาพูดกันในเรื่องนี้ จะมีประโยชน์อะไรแก่สุนัขจิ้งจอกเลวทราม ๔ อย่าง (สรีระ ๑ ชาติ ๑ เสียง ๑ คุณ ๑) เล่า แน่ะสุนัขจิ้งจอกตัวชาติชั่ว เจ้าจงเข้าไปสู่ ปล่องเถิด. จบ จตุมัฏฐชาดกที่ ๗.
