๖. อารามทูสกชาดก (๔๖) ว่าด้วยลิงทำลายสวน (บุรุษผู้เป็นบัณฑิตได้ฟังคำของลิง จึงกล่าวว่า)
น เว อนตฺถกุสเลน อตฺถจริยา สุขาวหา หาเปติ อตฺถํ ทุมฺเมโธ กปิ อารามิโก ยถาติ ฯ อารามทูสกชาตกํ ฉฏฺฐํ ฯ ---------
ผู้ฉลาดในสิ่งที่ไม่เป็นประโยชน์ ถึงจะทำความเจริญ ก็ไม่สามารถจะนำ ความสุขมาให้ ผู้มีปัญญาทรามย่อมทำประโยชน์ให้เสีย เหมือนกับลิง ผู้รักษาสวน ฉะนั้น. จบ อารามทูสกชาดกที่ ๖.
ผู้ไม่ฉลาดในสิ่งที่เป็นประโยชน์ ถึงจะบำเพ็ญประโยชน์ ก็ไม่สามารถจะนำความสุขมาได้เลย คนมีปัญญาทรามทำประโยชน์ให้เสียหาย เหมือนลิงเฝ้าสวน อารามทูสกชาดกที่ ๖ จบ
