หิริโอตฺตปฺปสมฺปนฺนา สุกฺกธมฺมสมาหิตา สนฺโต สปฺปุริสา โลเก เทวธมฺมาติ วุจฺจเรติ ฯ เทวธมฺมชาตกํ ฉฏฺฐํ ฯ ---------
สัปบุรุษผู้สงบระงับ ประกอบด้วยหิริและโอตตัปปะ ตั้งมั่นอยู่ในธรรม อันขาว ท่านเรียกว่าผู้มีธรรมของเทวดาในโลก. จบ เทวธรรมชาดกที่ ๖.
บุคคลผู้ถึงพร้อมด้วยหิริและโอตตัปปะ ตั้งมั่นอยู่ในสุกกธรรม (กุศลธรรม) เป็นผู้สงบระงับ เป็นคนดีงาม ท่านเรียกว่า ผู้มีเทวธรรมในโลกเทวธัมมชาดกที่ ๖ จบ
