อภิตฺถนย ปชฺชุนฺน นิธึ กากสฺส นาสย กากํ โสกาย รนฺเธหิ มญฺจ โสกา ปโมจยาติ ฯ มจฺฉชาตกํ ปญฺจมํ ฯ ---------
ข้าแต่ฝน ขอท่านจงตกลงมาเถิด ขอจงทำลายขุมทรัพย์ของกาเสีย จงทำกาให้เศร้าโศก จงช่วยเปลื้องเราและพวกญาติๆ ให้พ้นจากความ เศร้าโศกด้วยเถิด. จบ มัจฉชาดกที่ ๕.
ปัชชุนนเทพ ท่านจงร้องคำรามให้ฝนตกมา ทำลายขุมทรัพย์ของฝูงกา ทำฝูงกาให้ได้รับความเศร้าโศก และช่วยปลดเปลื้องข้าพเจ้าและหมู่ญาติ ให้พ้นจากความเศร้าโศกเถิด มัจฉชาดกที่ ๕ จบ
