ผู้ใดเปิดผนึกหรือเอาจดหมายโทรเลข หรือเอกสารใด ๆซึ่งปิดผนึก ของผู้อื่นไป เพื่อล่วงรู้ข้อความก็ดี เพื่อนำข้อความในจดหมายโทรเลขหรือเอกสารเช่นว่านั้นออก เปิดเผยก็ดี ถ้าการกระทำนั้นน่าจะเกิดความเสียหายแก่ผู้หนึ่ ผู้ใดต้องระวางโทษจำคุกไม่เกินหกเดือน หรือปรับไม่เกินหนึ่งพันบาท หรือทั้งจำทั้งปรับ
