Consolidated edition — not the text as first promulgatedเมื่อปรากฏว่าผู้ใดได้กระทำการอันเป็นความผิดหลายกรรมต่างกัน ให้ ศาลลงโทษผู้นั้นทุ กรรมเป็นกระทงความผิดไปแต่ไม่ว่าจะมีการเพิ่มโทษ ลดโทษหรือลดมาตราส่วน โทษด้วยหรือไม่ก็ตาม เมื่อรวมโทษทุกกระทงแล้ว โทษจำคุกทั้งสิ้นต้องไม่เกินกำหนดดังต่อไปนี้
(๑) สิบปี สำหรับกรณีความผิดกระทงที่หนักที่สุดมีอัตราโทษจำคุกอย่างสูงไม่เกิน สามปี
(๒) ยี่สิบปี สำหรับกรณีความผิดกระทงที่หนักที่สุดมีอัตราโทษจำคุกอย่างสูงเกินสาม ปีแต่ไม่เกินสิบปี
(๓) ห้าสิบปี สำหรับกรณีความผิดกระทงที่หนักที่สุดมีอัตราโทษจำคุกอย่างสูงเกินสิบ ปีขึ้นไป เว้นแต่กรณีที่ศาลลงโทษจำคุกตลอดชีวิต
