คณะกรรมการควบคุมยาเสพติดมีอำนาจแต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการเพื่อพิจารณา หรือปฏิบัติการอย่างหนึ่งอย่างใดตามที่คณะกรรมการควบคุมยาเสพติดมอบหมายก็ได้ การแต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการตามวรรคหนึ่งอย่างน้อยต้องแต่งตั้งคณะอนุกรรมการยาเสพติด ให้โทษ คณะอนุกรรมการวัตถุออกฤทธิ์ และคณะอนุกรรมการสารระเหย การประชุมของคณะอนุกรรมการให้นำความในมาตรา ๑๐ วรรคหนึ่ง วรรคสอง และวรรคสาม มาใช้บังคับด้วยโดยอนุโลม
