ในกรณีที่คณะกรรมการจัดการป่าชุมชนหรือสมาชิกป่าชุมชนมีความจำเป็น ต้องใช้ประโยชน์จากไม้ที่เกิดขึ้นตามธรรมชาติในป่าชุมชนเพื่อบรรเทาความเดือดร้อนเสียหาย อันเนื่องมาจากประสบเหตุภัยพิบัติสาธารณะหรือมีเหตุจำเป็นเพื่อช่วยเหลือราษฎรเป็นกรณีพิเศษ ต้องได้รับอนุญาตเป็นหนังสือจากคณะกรรมการป่าชุมชนประจำจังหวัด หลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการ และเงื่อนไขการขออนุญาตและการอนุญาต ให้เป็นไปตามระเบียบ ที่ออกตามมาตรา ๕๒ วรรคสอง แห่งพระราชบัญญัติป่าชุมชน พ.ศ. ๒๕๖๒
