การยื่นคำขออนุญาตตามข้อ ๑ ให้ยื่น ณ ท้องที่ที่ประสงค์จะค้างาช้างดังต่อไปนี้
(๑) ในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร ให้ยื่นที่กรมอุทยานแห่งชาติ สัตว์ป่า และพันธุ์พืช
(๒) ในท้องที่จังหวัดอื่น ให้ยื่นที่สำนักบริหารพื้นที่อนุรักษ์แห่งท้องที่นั้น
(๓) สถานที่และวิธีการอื่นตามที่อธิบดีกำหนดโดยประกาศในราชกิจจานุเบกษา เพื่ออำนวย ความสะดวกแก่ประชาชน
