Section ๔

ผู้ประสงค์จะขอให้ตรวจสอบก่อนการขึ้นทะเบียนสิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์ของต่างประเทศ ที่ได้มาด้วยวิธีการแลกเปลี่ยนรายการสิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์ ให้ยื่นคำขอต่อพนักงานเจ้าหน้าที่ ตามวิธีการและแบบที่อธิบดีประกาศกำหนด โดยอย่างน้อยต้องมีรายการ ดังต่อไปนี้

(๑) สิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์

(๒) รายการสินค้าที่ใช้สิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์

(๓) รายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับผู้ยื่นคำขอ

(๔) ประเทศต้นกำเนิดที่ได้รับการคุ้มครอง

(๕) รายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับคุณภาพ ชื่อเสียง คุณสมบัติหรือคุณลักษณะเฉพาะของสินค้า ที่ใช้สิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์

(๖) รายละเอียดเกี่ยวกับที่ตั้งแหล่งภูมิศาสตร์

(๗) รายละเอียดซึ่งแสดงความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างสินค้าที่ใช้สิ่งบ่งชี้ทางภูมิศาสตร์กับแหล่งภูมิศาสตร์
