ในกรณีที่พยานบุคคลไม่เข้าใจภาษาไทย หรือเป็นใบ้ หรือหูหนวกและอ่านหนังสือไม่ได้ ให้ผู้บังคับหลักประกันเป็นผู้จัดหาล่ามโดยเรียกค่าใช้จ่ายจากคู่สัญญาฝ่ายที่เป็นผู้นำพยานบุคคลดังกล่าว มาให้ถ้อยคำ
