บรรดาคดีของท้องที่จังหวัดสระบุรี ซึ่งค้างพิจารณาอยู่ในศาลจังหวัดสระบุรี ในวันเปิดทำการศาลแขวงสระบุรีตามมาตรา ๔ ให้คงพิจารณาพิพากษาต่อไปในศาลจังหวัดสระบุรี บรรดาคดีของท้องที่ตามที่กำหนดไว้ในวรรคหนึ่ง ซึ่งอยู่ระหว่างที่ศาลจังหวัดสระบุรีมีคำสั่ง ให้ผัดฟ้องหรือให้ขังผู้ต้องหาไว้ระหว่างสอบสวน แล้วแต่กรณี ในวันเปิดทำการศาลแขวงสระบุรี ให้ศาลจังหวัดสระบุรีมีอำนาจพิจารณาเกี่ยวกับการผัดฟ้องหรือขังระหว่างสอบสวนนั้นต่อไป
