ในระหว่างที่ยังมิได้เปิดทำการศาลแขวงเวียงป่าเป้าตามมาตรา ๔ ให้ศาลจังหวัดเชียงรายมีเขตอำนาจตลอดถึงเขตอำนาจของศาลแขวงเวียงป่าเป้าด้วย
