การโอนข้าราชการตำรวจไปรับราชการในส่วนราชการหรือหน่วยงานอื่น จะกระทำได้เมื่อเจ้าตัวสมัครใจและส่วนราชการหรือหน่วยงานต้องการจะรับโอนผู้นั้น โดยให้ส่วนราชการ หรือหน่วยงานที่ขอรับโอนทำความตกลงกับสำนักงานตำรวจแห่งชาติ
