ให้สำนักงานจัดทำงบการเงินและบัญชี แล้วส่งผู้สอบบัญชีภายในหนึ่งร้อยยี่สิบวัน นับแต่วันสิ้นปีบัญชี ให้สำนักงานการตรวจเงินแผ่นดินหรือผู้สอบบัญชีรับอนุญาตที่สำนักงานการตรวจเงินแผ่นดิน ให้ความเห็นชอบเป็นผู้สอบบัญชีของสำนักงาน และประเมินผลการใช้จ่ายเงินและทรัพย์สินของ สำนักงานทุกรอบปีแล้วทำรายงานผลการสอบบัญชีเสนอต่อคณะกรรมการกำกับสำนักงานคณะกรรมการ คุ้มครองข้อมูลส่วนบุคคลเพื่อรับรอง
