ให้ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาตามหลักสูตรพระปริยัติธรรม แผนกธรรมและแผนกบาลี สนามหลวง ชั้นเปรียญธรรมเก้าประโยค มีวิทยฐานะระดับปริญญาตรี เรียกว่า “เปรียญธรรมเก้าประโยค” ใช้อักษรย่อว่า “ป.ธ. ๙” เลม่ ๑๓๖ ตอนที่ ๕๐ ก หนา้ ๑๙ ในกรณีที่ผู้สำเร็จการศึกษาพระปริยัติธรรม แผนกบาลีสนามหลวงชั้นใด ได้ทำการศึกษาเพิ่มเติม ตามหลักเกณฑ์ที่คณะกรรมการกำหนด ให้ผู้นั้นมีวิทยฐานะระดับใดๆโดยความเห็นชอบของมหาเถรสมาคม และตามหลักเกณฑ์ที่คณะกรรมการการอุดมศึกษาตามกฎหมายว่าด้วยการศึกษาแห่งชาติกำหนด
