ให้คณะกรรมการบริหารกองทุนจัดทำงบดุล งบการเงิน และบัญชีทำการส่ง ผู้สอบบัญชีภายในเก้าสิบวันนับแต่วันสิ้นปีบัญชีทุกปี ให้สำนักงานการตรวจเงินแผ่นดินหรือผู้สอบบัญชีรับอนุญาตที่สำนักงานการตรวจเงินแผ่นดิน ให้ความเห็นชอบเป็นผู้สอบบัญชีของกองทุนทุกรอบปี แล้วทำรายงานผลการสอบบัญชีเสนอต่อคณะกรรมการ เพื่อรายงานต่อคณะรัฐมนตรีพร้อมกับรายงานตามมาตรา ๒๘
(๖) ในรายงานดังกล่าวให้สำนักงาน การตรวจเงินแผ่นดินแสดงความเห็นเกี่ยวกับประสิทธิภาพและประสิทธิผลของการใช้เงินของกองทุนด้วย
