ในกรณีที่การซ่อมแซมเรือจำเป็นต้องนำวัสดุที่มีสภาพดีกว่าหรือมีมูลค่าสูงกว่า มาเปลี่ยนส่วนที่เสียหาย ให้ประโยชน์ดังกล่าวตกแก่เรือนั้น
