ในการปฏิบัติการตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ อธิบดีอาจขอให้คณะอนุกรรมการ ให้คำแนะนำเกี่ยวกับสินค้าที่เกี่ยวข้องกับการแพร่ขยายอาวุธที่มีอานุภาพทำลายล้างสูงและการประเมิน ความเสี่ยงทางเทคนิคของสินค้า และให้อธิบดีรายงานให้คณะกรรมการทราบต่อไป
