บรรดาความผิดตามพระราชบัญญัตินี้ ให้คณะกรรมการมีอำนาจเปรียบเทียบได้ ในการใช้อำนาจดังกล่าวคณะกรรมการอาจมอบหมายให้เลขาธิการกระทำการแทนได้ เมื่อผู้ต้องหาได้ชำระเงินค่าปรับตามจำนวนที่เปรียบเทียบภายในระยะเวลาที่กำหนดแล้ว ให้ถือว่า คดีเลิกกันตามบทบัญญัติแห่งประมวลกฎหมายวิธีพิจารณาความอาญา การกำหนดจำนวนเงินค่าปรับที่จะเปรียบเทียบให้เป็นไปตามหลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการ และเงื่อนไข ที่คณะกรรมการประกาศกำหนด
