เกนสฺสุพฺภาหโต โลโก เกนสฺสุ ปริวาริโต เกน สลฺเลน โอติณฺโณ กิสฺส ธูปายิโต สทาติ ฯ
เทวดาทูลถามว่า โลกอันอะไรหนอกำจัดแล้ว อันอะไรหนอล้อมไว้แล้ว อัน ลูกศรคืออะไรเสียบแล้ว อันอะไรเผาแล้วในกาลทุกเมื่อ ฯ
เทวดาทูลถามว่า โลกถูกอะไรเล่ากำจัด ถูกอะไรเล่าล้อมไว้ ถูกลูกศรคืออะไรเล่าเสียบไว้ ถูกอะไรเล่าเผาให้ร้อนตลอดกาลทุกเมื่อ พระผู้มีพระภาคตรัสตอบว่า โลกถูกมัจจุกำจัด ถูกชราล้อมไว้ ถูกลูกศรคือตัณหาเสียบไว้ ถูกความอยากเผาให้ร้อนตลอดกาลทุกเมื่อ อัพภาหตสูตรที่ ๖ จบ
