๕. รมณียวิหารีเถรคาถา ภาษิตของพระรมณียวิหารีเถระ ทราบว่า ท่านพระรมณียวิหารีเถระได้กล่าวคาถาไว้ดังนี้ว่า
|๑๘๒.๔๕| ๕ ยถาปิ ภทฺโท อาชญฺโญ ขลิตฺวา ปฏิติฏฺฐติ เอวํ ทสฺสนสมฺปนฺนํ สมฺมาสมฺพุทฺธสาวกนฺติ ฯ รมณียวิหารี เถโร ฯ
โคอาชาไนยผู้สมบูรณ์พลาดล้มแล้ว ย่อมกลับลุกขึ้นตั้งตัวได้ ฉันใด ท่านทั้งหลายจงจำเราไว้ว่า เป็นสาวกของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า ผู้สมบูรณ์ด้วยทัสสนะ ฉันนั้นเถิด.
ขอท่านทั้งหลายจงจำข้าพเจ้าว่า เป็นสาวกของพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้า ผู้ชื่อว่าสมบูรณ์ด้วยทัศนะ เพราะพลั้งพลาดแล้วสามารถตั้งตนได้ เหมือนโคอาชาไนยเจริญเต็มที่ พลาดล้มแล้วลุกขึ้นยืนใหม่ได้ ฉะนั้น @เชิงอรรถ : @ ความเห็นชอบ (ขุ.เถร.อ. ๑/๔๕/๑๘๑)
