๖. กากชาดก (๑๔๖) ว่าด้วยกาวิดน้ำด้วยจะงอยปาก (ฝูงกาปรึกษากันแล้วพูดว่าไม่สามารถจะทำทะเลให้แห้งได้ จึงกล่าวว่า)
อปิ นุ หนุกา สนฺตา มุขญฺจ ปริสุสฺสติ ฯ โอรมาม น ปาเรม ปูรเตว มโหทธีติ ฯ กากชาตกํ ฉฏฺฐํ ฯ ---------
เออก็คางของเราเมื่อยล้าแล้ว และปากของเราก็ซูบซีด เราพากันเลิก เถอะ อย่าวิดเลย เพราะมหาสมุทรก็ยังเต็มอยู่ตามเดิม. จบ กากชาดกที่ ๖.
คางของพวกเราล้าแล้วหนอ ปากก็ซีดเซียว พวกเราพากันวิดอยู่ก็ไม่อาจทำให้น้ำแห้งได้ ห้วงน้ำใหญ่ก็ยังคงเต็มอยู่เช่นเดิม กากชาดกที่ ๖ จบ
