นยิทํ ทุกฺขํ อทุํ ทุกฺขํ ยํ มํ ตุทติ วายโส ยํ สามา ปุปฺผรตฺเตน กตฺติกํ นานุโภสฺสตีติ ฯ ปุปฺผรตฺตชาตกํ สตฺตมํ ฯ ---------
ความทุกข์เพราะถูกเสียบหลาวนี้ก็ดี ความทุกข์ที่ถูกกาจิกเราก็ดี ก็ไม่ เป็นความทุกข์ของเรา ความทุกข์ที่ว่าภรรยาของเราจะไม่ได้นุ่งห่มผ้าย้อม ดอกคำเที่ยวเล่นมหรสพในเดือน ๑๒ นี้ เป็นทุกข์ของเรา. จบ บุปผรัตตชาดกที่ ๗.
