อฏฺฐกฺขุรํ ขราทิเย มิคํ วงฺกาติวงฺกินํ สตฺตกาเลหติกฺกนฺตํ น นํ โอวทิตุสฺสเหติ ฯ ขราทิยชาตกํ ปญฺจมํ ฯ ---------
ดูกรนางเนื้อขราทิยา ฉันไม่สามารถจะสั่งสอนเนื้อตัวนั้น ผู้มี ๘ กีบ มีเขาคดแต่โคนจนถึงปลายเขา ล่วงเลยโอวาทเสียตั้ง ๗ วัน. จบ ขราทิยาชาดกที่ ๕.
แม่ขราทิยา เราไม่สามารถจะสั่งสอนเนื้อ ที่มีกีบเท้า ๘ กีบ มีเขาคดตั้งแต่โคนจรดปลาย ที่ละเลยโอวาทตลอด ๗ วันตัวนั้นได้ขราทิยชาดกที่ ๕ จบ
