อปฺปเกนปิ เมธาวี ปาภเฏน วิจกฺขโณ สมุฏฺฐาเปติ อตฺตานํ อณุํ อคฺคึว สนฺธมนฺติ ฯ จุลฺลกเสฏฺฐิชาตกํ จตุตฺถํ ฯ ---------
คนมีปัญญาเฉลียวฉลาด ย่อมตั้งตนไว้ด้วยต้นทุนแม้น้อย ดุจคนก่อไฟ น้อยๆ ให้เป็นกองใหญ่ ฉะนั้น. จบ จุลลกเศรษฐีชาดกที่ ๔.
ผู้มีปัญญาพิจารณาเห็นโดยประจักษ์ ย่อมตั้งตัวได้ด้วยสิ่งของอันมีมูลค่าน้อย เหมือนคนก่อไฟกองเล็กๆ ทำให้เป็นกองใหญ่ได้ จูฬเสฏฐิชาดกที่ ๔ จบ
