อิธ เจ นํ วิราเธสิ สทฺธมฺมสฺส นิยามกํ จิรํ ตฺวํ อนุตปฺเปสิ เสริวายํว วาณิโชติ ฯ เสริววาณิชชาตกํ ตติยํ ฯ ---------
ถ้าท่านพลาดโสดาปัตติมรรค คือ ความแน่นอนแห่งสัทธรรมในศาสนานี้ ท่านจะต้องเดือดร้อนใจในภายหลังสิ้นกาลนาน ดุจพาณิชชื่อเสรีวะผู้นี้ ฉะนั้น. จบ เสรีววาณิชชาดกที่ ๓.
ถ้าเธอพลาดจากสภาวะอันแน่นอนแห่งพระสัทธรรม ในศาสนานี้แล้ว เธอจะต้องเดือดร้อนตลอดกาลนาน เหมือนพ่อค้าชื่อว่าเสริวะนี้ เสริววาณิชชาดกที่ ๓ จบ
