นกฺขตฺตํ ปฏิมาเนนฺตํ อตฺโถ พาลํ อุปจฺจคา อตฺโถ อตฺถสฺส นกฺขตฺตํ กึ กริสฺสนฺติ ตารกาติ ฯ นกฺขตฺตชาตกํ นวมํ ฯ ---------
ประโยชน์ได้ล่วงเลยคนโง่เขลาผู้มัวคอยฤกษ์อยู่ ประโยชน์เป็นฤกษ์ของ ประโยชน์ ดวงดาวจักทำอะไรได้. จบ นักขัตตชาดกที่ ๙.
ประโยชน์ได้ล่วงเลยคนโง่เขลาที่มัวรอคอยฤกษ์ยามอยู่ ประโยชน์นั่นแหละเป็นฤกษ์ของประโยชน์ ดวงดาวทั้งหลายจักทำอะไรได้ นักขัตตชาดกที่ ๙ จบ
