น วิสฺสเส อวิสฺสตฺเถ วิสฺสตฺเถปิ น วิสฺสเส วิสฺสาสา ภยมเนฺวติ สีหํว มิคมาตุกาติ ฯ วิสฺสาสโภชนชาตกํ ตติยํ ฯ ---------
บุคคลไม่ควรไว้วางใจในผู้ที่ยังไม่คุ้นเคยกัน แม้ผู้ที่คุ้นเคยกันแล้วก็ไม่ ควรไว้วางใจ ภัยย่อมมาจากผู้ที่คุ้นเคยกัน เหมือนภัยของราชสีห์ เกิดจาก แม่เนื้อฉะนั้น. จบ วิสสาสโภชนชาดกที่ ๓.
บุคคลไม่ควรไว้วางใจในบุคคลที่ไม่คุ้นเคยกัน แม้ในบุคคลที่คุ้นเคยกันก็ไม่พึงไว้วางใจ ภัยย่อมมีมาจากบุคคลผู้คุ้นเคยกัน เหมือนภัยจากแม่เนื้อมาถึงสีหะวิสสาสโภชนชาดกที่ ๓ จบ
