ให้สถานพยาบาลยาเสพติดหรือสถานฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพผู้ติดยาเสพติดมีหน้าที่ และอำนาจดำเนินการบำบัดรักษาหรือการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพ ประเมินผล ติดตามดูแลอย่างต่อเนื่อง จัดทำและเก็บข้อมูลประวัติของผู้เข้ารับการบำบัดรักษาหรือการฟื้นฟูสมรรถภาพ รวมทั้งดำเนินการ ลดอันตรายจากยาเสพติด แล้วแต่กรณี
