การแบ่งประเภทวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ให้เป็นไปตามตารางแสดงประเภทวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ ท้ายกฎกระทรวงนี้ ในการแบ่งประเภทวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ตามวรรคหนึ่ง ให้คำนึงถึงลักษณะและระดับการรักษา ความมั่นคงปลอดภัยของวัสดุนิวเคลียร์นั้น ในกรณีที่วัสดุนิวเคลียร์ใดเป็นสารประกอบหรือสารผสมของวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ต่างประเภทกัน ให้ถือว่าวัสดุนิวเคลียร์นั้นเป็นวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ตามประเภทของวัสดุนิวเคลียร์ที่ประกอบหรือผสมที่มีระดับ การรักษาความมั่นคงปลอดภัยสูงสุด เล่ม ๑๔๑ ตอนที่ ๗๑ ก
